Social Life Drawing Class: Curves and Cabernet

Tap into your creative side with a life drawing session for 5 people or more. Generally the model is nude but we can also organise a clothed or themed session to suit your event or audience.In an instructional session pose lengths are generally shorter - around 2-5 minutes. For a "sit down and draw, I'm happy doing my own thing" session, pose lengths can vary from 2 minutes up to 2-3hours. Whatever you prefer!Life drawing, whether for the beginner or the continuing artist, allows you to stretch your creative muscles and engage a different part of your brain than your regular day-to-day job. It's a fantastic way to explore your artistic abilities, express yourself, and try different art materials and just draw from real life. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, this workshop is open to all skill levels. You don't need any prior experience in drawing to participate. We provide a safe and welcoming space to try something new or to continue your art practice in a different space (with great lighting!)BYO art materials, or for an additional $5, we can provide you with paper and drawing materials. Light refreshments will be provided, and wine will be available for those who want to further enhance their creative flow.Join us for two hours of life drawing and immerse yourself in the process of capturing the unique curves and contours of the human form. Led by our art model, the Curvaceous Jane, and hosted by Chris of After Dark Studio, this workshop offers a relaxed and welcoming environment to explore your artistic potential.We look forward to seeing you and your work.

Beginners and experienced artists are all welcome. We love having a mixture of all levels of experience in the room.
 

• Two hours of quiet drawing time.
• No specific tuition but some general guidance will be given.
• Always great lighting, great music and great conversation at these sessions!
• Light refreshments at half time, wine also available.

Either BYO your own art supplies or we can supply you with everything you need for the night for an additional $5.
