What you'll do
Ever wondered about the art of polymer clay? It's not just any art medium; it's a versatile, affordable and utterly captivating craft that you'll certainly love and adore! This Brisbane workshop is all about using polymer clay to cover and decorate tools. Discover the diverse range of clay types and where to get your hands on them. Then, you'll get to learn how to roll, cut and condition clay, with the help of a trusty pasta machine.Simply bring your own tools like a craft knife, paintbrush or salad spoon and get ready to unleash your inner artist. By the end of the class, you can take home your new and improved hand tools!
Knowledge required
No previous knowledge of polymer clay is necessary.
What you'll get
Polymer clay to cover various items and take home baked finished items.
What to bring
Bring your own craft knife (exacto knife), paint brushes, salad spoons, etc. Must be metal and wood as items need to be baked in an oven (at 130 degrees) so any plastic will melt. We will have items to cover for sale on the day.

Your teacher
I am Gilly, a polymer clay artist and educator based in Brisbane. I came across polymer clay quite accidentally around 10 years ago and fell in love with the medium. I also have a 3D printing clay tools side kick which I started around 6 years ago and am proud to say that I was one of the very first (if not the first) in Australia to design and print 3D tools for polymer clay artists and have been selling around the world since then. We have a farm of printers which run pretty much every day.I have been a teacher for most of my life in the IT industry, and during more recent years a teacher of polymer clay at various locations across Australia and mostly in Brisbane. I am here to share my love of polymer clay and 3D printing and am looking forward to sharing my knowledge to with you.I hope you will join me in one of my workshops.
