We got you! We’re not dropping a new reality series (yet), but we thought it was time to introduce you to the pooches behind ClassBento. Yes, the rumours are true — pay our office a visit mid-week and you’ll likely find at least one doggo to hug.
And why wouldn’t we? Research has found that dogs can do everything from improving happiness and social connection to releasing the cuddle hormone (oxytocin) simply by gazing into your eyes. As if we didn’t love them enough already.
So in an ode to our favourite furry friends on International Dog Day, here’s the behind-the-scenes low down on The Real House Dogs Of ClassBento and the little things they do to make our lives brighter every day.
Kirby (Kirby Birby, Kirbster)
Guardian: Raheli Cabala, Customer Service Hero (AU)
Age: 2 years
Breed: Staffador (Staffy cross Lab — the best of both worlds)
Best described as… Loving, playful, sleepy, derpy, intuitive and sensitive
Makes me smile when… She starts doing roly polies on the couch! Or joins me on my lap during work meetings :)
Frankie (Frank)
Guardian: Laine Fullerton, Editorial Manager — Production (AU)
Age: 4 years
Breed: Cavoodle
Best described as… Timid, loving and needy (she's a Pisces).
Makes me smile when… Frankie is a real snuggler, it's how she shows someone she loves them. So from her, there's no bigger compliment than a cuddle on the couch (or the bed who am I kidding).
Oliver Christmas Boggins (Ollie, Cookie Boy)
Guardian: Kate Sclanders, Growth Partner (AU)
Age: 3.5 years
Breed: Cocker Spaniel
Best described as… Comfortable, high maintenance, anxious
Makes me smile when… He greets me at the door with a gift, toy (or anything he can carry) with a wiggly bum.
Banjo (Boodg, Budgywinkle)
Guardian: Holly Peasland, Growth Partner (AU)
Age: 1.5 years
Breed: Tamaruke
Best described as… Dopey, caring and sociable
Makes me smile when… Where ever I go with Banjo we seem to meet people. He brings a smile and gives a muddy pawprint to everyone he encounters.
Eddy and Daisy (Eddy Poo's, Daisy Dimple)
Guardian: Suz MacGregor, Business Development Manager (USA)
Age: 7 years
Breed: Miniature Schnauzer
Best described as… Cheeky, cunning and caring
Makes me smile when… We go for meet-up walks with members from our Schnauzer Scotland page. We set up the page ourselves and now have over 300 members!
