What you'll do
This jelly art class in Schofields is a hands-on dessert class with a twist where you will learn to make beautiful flower art in edible jelly.You will learn how to make jelly flowers by injecting a colourful base into clear gelatin and forming petals, leaves and other shapes.All colours are plant-based and made from natural vegetable and fruit colourings. Ingredients include agar-agar (a sea vegetable that works like gelatin), coconut milk and sugar. If you have diabetes, please inform the instructor in advance and a sugar alternative will be provided. This class is suitable for vegans.Flowers are usually drawn using a simple syringe with a needle and specialised jelly art tools which can be purchased from the instructor if you wish to purchase a set to continue creating at home. This is a beginner-friendly class. Your teacher will teach you how to make jelly art.At the end of this fun class, you will take home your very own jelly art creation!
