Clay play half day with Deep Blue Ceramics is a fun hands-on workshop where you will learn the basics of creating with clay and have fun getting your hands dirty.
This class is for adults and children to create together, where all children must have a parent/carer with them. Each adult must have no more than three children with them. Ideal age would be 8-13 but others are welcome! Not suitable for 5 or unders.
You will have the opportunity to learn about and play with clay and be introduced and guided in a variety of techniques to create several items, either functional or decorative or both! You will be guided in the techniques required to create your masterpieces in a relaxed and inclusive environment.
At the end of your class, your creations will be glazed and fired for you, ready to collect a few weeks after the class. This class is perfect if you're searching for new things to do in Canberra this school holidays.
Please note:- You will need to collect your fired pieces from our Studio approximately three to four weeks after your workshop.
- Public dates for this class require at least 6 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case, we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
